This limited-edition style is inspired by the bluefish that return each summer along the New England coast. Each embroidered motif is crafted entirely by hand, requiring 22 hours of intricate embroidery per pair. Artisans use metallic Madeira threads in two luminous shades, layered with a delicate cross-hatch stitch in two additional tones to create depth, dimension, and subtle variation, so no two pairs are exactly alike.

I have a wide foot, so I did size up a half size and am having the toe strap stretched by a cobbler, as was recommended, to ensure ample room. However, this shoe is far more comfortable, with its cushioned sole, than other similarly priced sandals that offer a wide width. So glad I chose this sandal!"
