Q: What does walk like a woman mean to you?
A: Women are phenomenal multitaskers. It never ceases to amaze me how women are able to tackle so many and such varied responsibilities with total grace. So, to me, walk like a woman means you’re walking with 10 balls in the air but with total conviction that you’ll figure out some way to catch each of them without flinching.
Q: What inspired you to start Paravel?
A: At Paravel, we believe you should be able to buy luggage without having to compromise on design, quality, or price. We set out to design travel bags that are durable enough to stand up to overhead bins but beautiful enough to stand out on the streets, all without designer markups.
Q: What is one piece of advice you would give an aspiring entrepreneur?
A: When you fail at something (and you will), stop to learn from it. Some of the best opportunities come from failures, IF you embrace them.
Q: What is your must-have carry-on item?
I don’t go anywhere without my Paravel Weekender. It’s my personal +1 bag at the airport, my overnight bag, and my gym bag all in one.
Q: Your go-to travel shoe?
A: From now on I’m packing the Grear on all my summer travels. When I’m flying, I usually wear Veja Esplar Velcro sneakers.
Q: Best tip for beating jet lag?
A: Drink more water than you think you can possibly consume and take a quick walk outside as soon as you arrive.
