WHAT LED YOU TO BECOME A SHOE DESIGNER?
My entire life, I have always loved shoes and fashion. My grandmother was this fabulous, immaculately dressed woman and was an enormous influence on me. I later studied footwear design and construction at FIT, Parsons School of Design, and Ars Sutoria in Milan. I realized that for all of the beautiful, luxurious shoes on the market, I couldn’t find a pair that looked stylish and felt comfortable at the same time.
I started my brand in 2013 to fill that space, designing timeless, luxury shoes that also included comfortable features, like arch support and extra padding. I was picked up by major retailers in 2015, but took my business direct-to-consumer in 2017 to sell my shoes without the traditional retail mark-up. I believe everyone deserves luxury, and that luxury should be a seamless, uplifting part of your daily life.
